Feels nice to finally be done with the semester! I think I made out pretty well grades-wise which is good :).
I have an interview tonight with a magazine! Its for an intership so Im pretty excited.
I also get to go home tonight which is much needed!! Just to get back on my excersize routine and hit up the beach. Some good times with some good friends are also much needed!
Can't wait.

I decided...after I graduate, I am going to go on some sort of trip--whether to Europe, or New Zealand...and just work to live...and figure out what I want to do. Whether I want to go to grad school, or start a career.

From the bday to Barack...lots to update.

So, another year has gone by. My birthday was pretty good this year. Had a "Pirate Party."
It made me realize, I have pretty awesome friends.
Obama Rally
So, Ally and I skipped class last Wed. to go see Barack Obama and Bill Clinton in Kissimmee. It was well worth it a pretty much amazing. We were really close to the podium and had a really good time. :)

I wrote my first article for the Central Florida Future. It was on Homecoming weeks Comedy Knight. It made the front page, above the fold. It was really awesome to see my name in print.

Journalism
I was pretty skeptical about it all at first. My Jou. classes right now are pretty much torcher. I was really considering another major change (after all of my hard work to get into the program!) People were coming in to my classes and saying the most discouraging words about journalism. How you dont get paid and blablabla nights weekends blablala. But now, I am starting to really love it. I am not going to let me self be in a job that I hate. I will use my education where ever it fits me most :).
Venice
I went home to celebrate the bday with the fam. My parents went to a lot of effort to make my birthday as awesome as possible. (miss them) I always love seeing my family. Especially my cousins. We all get along so well even though we are all so different.
Jimmy Buffet
On the way back from Venice to Orlando, Joseph called and invited me to a FREE Jimmy Buffet concert. Of course I couldnt pass that up! It was to pump the vote for Obama too. He only played for like 40 minutes, but it was still really nice to see my cuz:).

Cara, Allison and I went to vote early Nov. 4th. After, in the excitement of it all- we went and got our free Starbucks, and free Chik-fil-a breakfast sandwhich. It was pretty much amazing.
Presidential Election
Barack Obama is the 44th president. The first black president. And the first president Ive ever voted for :). What an exciting election. Everyone has such a sence of hope. All over the country...people are excited for Obama... People in different countries--waving American flags. Its unbelievable to see, but so awesome. It makes me so proud to be an American. Just 40 years ago, segregation was still present. And now, look at us. :).
I know this was a long, pointless blog. But, I had a lot to catch up on.

Bill and Barack
SO...after working an 8 hour day and preparing to complete my 12 hour day by going to class with Ms. Allison Seador....We had a change of plans.
As we arrive to campus, we say..."what are we doing?" We turn around, and hit the road.
Screw going to class, especially the class before a test. Screw the fact I have a test tomorrow.
Im going to see President Bill Clinton and Senator Barack Obama.
Best decision ever.
We get there a notice police cars gating the area. Hundreds of them. Thousands and thousands of people. Helicopters pacing the skies.
As Ally and I get in line (now thats a story in its self) we are so pumped. We get there at 7...doors open at 8:30, the show doesnt start until 11. But the numb legs and feet were TOTALLY worth seeing Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

Everyone there for one reason. To support the beliefs of the presidential candidate.

RoadTrip America
Dont think, that just because last summer my "RoadTrip America" didnt follow through, that it is a dud.

I've already begun planning my adventures. And I've decided...that I am going to attempt to purchase a Vespa to make the trip.

I am currently at work and I decided to plug in some tunes to get me through the day. I went for a group that I havnt listen to a while but holds a dear place in my heart.

Love them. Their voices, lyrics, tone. So catching and alluring. Anyways, lets just say it put me in a great mood.
So this week has been going alright. On Monday I attended a CFF (Central Florida Future) meeting which was...interesting. I snagged a story on "Boba Tea." I am excited to have my first (ever) article published! Wont be till mid-November...but still :D.
Halloween is right around the corner, and the search for the perfect costume is on. I wish I had A). Time B). Money to make a costume. like a badass one. Oh well.
Daniel Boone Donoghue is grower faster than ever! He is getting SO BIG. I love him so so much. He has such a personality----quite similar to mine---Fiesty :D
Cara and I have a 10th Anniversary Mojo Olympics this Saturday. We are signed up for the Pie Eating Contest. We plan on training extensivly to prepare. Wish us luck!
In T-Minus 8 days...I will be on a plane to Chicago to see my beloved Best Megan Cogburn. (EEK)
I CANT wait. Its going to be so much fun. Nice weather, amazing food and quality time with my far away friend.

The Dandelion Cafe
I want to start trying out different places to eat and writing about them.
Today I went to The Dandelion Cafe. This wasn't my first visit to the colorful cottage of a restaurant. The brightly green and blue painted house holds some of the best vegan/vegatarian food I have ever tried.
When you walk in, its small quarters gets a little tight if you have a large party. The art that covers the wall makes the dine-in bright and fun. You can buy the local art or simply enjoy its beauty.
The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. The hummus is particularly delectable. You can buy any salad and make it in the form of a wrap. I tried "the giddy-up" and would HIGHLY recommend it.
Also, everyday they have 2 teas of the day. Both contrasting in taste but unique and wonderful all the same. You get free refills making it a well worth venture.
Over all I would say the Dandelion Cafe is a great lunch spot for a healthy alternative.
Meals run from 7-10 dollars.
